Digestion is possible without bile
by: Anonymous

The function of bile is to break up big fat droplets into smaller droplets (emulsification, NOT digestion).

Thus without bile, digestion of protein and carbohydrate are not affected.

Lipase is the enzyme that digest fat. Hence, without bile, digestion of fat is still possible but it will be so much less effective.
