1.Pentose sugar.
2.Nitrogenous bases.
3.Phosphoric acid.

5-carbon sugar : b-D-ribose (RNA)
b-D-deoxyribose (DNA)
Base Purine
Pyrimidine
Phosphate group A nucleotide WITHOUT - a phosphate group is a NUCLEOSIDE
