My 7 years old son asked me this morning this question,

Why flies hate to settle on moving objects?

Is it because flies think that moving objects will poses a threat? Or they stay in specific territories?

A: Good question. One way to discover answers to behavior of any living organism, including ourselves, is to think about evolutionary advantages that such behavior provide, so as to explain why it was selected during evolution.
