Constipation is that condition where the feaces become hardened thus making it difficult to be passed out easily. It occurs when the digested food whose water has been absorbed by the colon to some extent over stays in the rectum thus making it to absorb water from it further. Diarrhea on the other hand occurs when so me bacteria attack the walls of the colon thus making it not to absorb water from the digestd food completely.
