The pseudopodia move about and chloroplasts gather nutrients for the amoeba, which stream through openings in said organism.
Paramecium feed through the use of their cilia, being that they are ciliates. The cilia move in circular motions rapidly, acting as miniature whirlpools, which sweep water and nutrients into the oral groove, and then the nutrients are swept into the gullet, where they are digested. Excess water is pushed out of the organism by the contractile vacuole.
