In everyday language, what is meant by the radial side of the dorsum of the left hand?

I know the dorsum (back side) of the left hand is the opposite side of the palm, but I'm not sure what the radial side is. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Note of editor: Radial side = side of the radial artery (thumb side), that one where pulse beat is usually measured.
