Neither

To be a parasite, one must have a reasonably long-term intimate relationship with the host. A female mosquito is merely taking her obligate blood meal so her eggs will develop. She is no more a parasite of her host than you are a parasite of a strawberry plant when you pluck its aggregate-accessory fruit (the berry).
